We've had several people report "missing" comment boxes under a variety of circumstances. I'm trying to get to the bottom of this.

If you have experienced missing comment boxes for some or several contacts in the last 2-3 weeks, please reply and to the best of your abilities supply

theme
comment threading on/off
contact type
if you can look at the DB is the contact['writable'] 0 or 1 ?


This seems to be related to comment threading, but it's not that simple - and likely isn't a comment threading bug per se, but related to some unique system setting and the way in which we're interacting with it.

If you are a developer and are experiencing this issue, please help us track it down and figure it out.
