I found the idea interesting, though I don't have files on my HD, I just do #online streaming. But that doesn't mean my #music provider should NOT do it :-)

Hm, no. I don't like that. :-)

Music is about what humans play. Or maybe even what humans create using digital technology, though I personally think that in most cases this won't ever reach what real humans in an actual live concert can achieve if they are able to improvise.

Now some algorithm that changes bits and pieces of the music? No. NO! That just can't be good. Of course, it can be better than just listening to streamlined hit stuff. But I think it's absolutely impossible for an algorithm to reach the levels of well improvising humans.
