Tip: RedMatrix is incredibly versatile, and once you are familiar with it's inner workings, you will start finding more and more uses for it in every day life. Some people use it for simple social networking, others for web publishing, cloud storage, blogging, and more. Other people take this to a whole new level. Did you know, for example, that RedMatrix is so versatile you can actually print out the source code and fold it into a hat?

@lnxw48 See, CAcert does not work with intermediate entities, it's a WoT. Concerning the web browsers problem, main point to debate refers to one of computing pillars: end users. How should they be treated? How should they be addressed? What computing should be to them? A facilitator only? Or should try to do sth else like teaching them that when everything's automatic and "transparent", they become puppets. (?)

I really do not like this invasion of 'twiter/facebook posts' in our foss-networks , and especially I do not give a damn if in the F.S.F. there is someone who uses twitter, for me can also go to hell that person.

@mbjunior in truth I do not write your name, it 'comes' automatically.

Wish there were more women here to discuss this. I find it just another way that corporate America demands that the world conforms to what they want. People themselves (e.g. the workforce) are here to serve the corporate needs and we can't have anything like "life" getting in the way of the continued march of the profit machine.

I'm so glad I left that world behind.

I have been talking about using "Free Software" for the past twenty years, and the equivalent of "Open Source" even longer. Many times I have had people ask me, "Why do you use Free Software?" So I patiently tell them all the reasons why I use Free Software.

At the basic laboratory course in physics at university I have noticed lately, say the last 3 semesters, that students asked if they would be allowed to use LibreOffice for the documentation of the experiments they do. So I guess that some (cheap) notebook vendors started to not install any proper office software and they found that cost free alternative somewhere (they don't look like the usual FLOSS crowd member you meet at community events, so I don't think it's a personal disicion they made "because of FLOSS").

Ora del lupo ...e i suoi cuccioli
"...Ha mai sentito dell'ora del lupo?"

"No."

"Mio padre me ne parlava...

Exactly 71 years ago, April 19, 1943, Albert Hofmann, a chemist for Sandoz, in Basel, Switzerland, ingested a minute amount—just 250 micrograms–of a compound derived from the ergot fungus. He soon felt so disoriented that he rode his bicycle home, where he experienced all the heavenly and hellish effects of lysergic acid diethylamide.
